I have had great difficulty getting Billy to eat or even try fresh fruit or veg.  I have been successful with dried fruits.  I know dried fruits are not as good as fresh but am I right in thinking that nutritionally it is nearly as good as fresh?

I'm not sure about the nutritional values of dried fruit... but I always through that the biggest problem with dried fruit is the sugar levels.   dontknow

Hi Alex and ken nice to see you around.   :thumbsup:I don't think dired fruit is too much of a problem but like Ken says high in sugar.

I sometimes go to Health food shops and by fruit that has nothing on it I suppose I mean not crystalized.    They do all types of fruit like apple rings etc.  These don't tend to taste too sugary.

we often go berry picking , wash them then dry them in this so they last all year , differant seasons have differant berries, i know its alot of money but worth its weight in gold, my birds have the best dryed fruit you can get haha
